BRIEF INTRODUCTION
A..C.S.T POLYURETHANE FOAM is based on cured polyurethane and manufactured by A. C. S. T. Chemical Co., Ltd. The raw material is disphenylmethane C4.4¡¯- disocyanate imported from Germany.
Pu foam is a newly-developed high-tech building material and can be applied to sealing and bonding around windows, doors, fill cracks, joints, gaps around concrete. It boasts many advantages such as waterproof, heat preservation, waterproof, fireproof, pollution free etc. Currently, it has been widely used in China. INSTRUCTIONS
1. Holding the can and shake for 3 minutes vigorously before use.
2. Clean surface of dirt, grease and dust, then must wet the cavity.
3. Take of cap, screw gun onto the foam.
4. Hold can upside down with foam gun tube pointing into far end of cavity slowing press trigger dispense foam. Test of experimental surface. Fill cavity 50% with foam to allow for expansion.
5. Dry in minutes, cured in 24 hours. Cured foam can be trimmed, painted, plastered, grouted or caulked.
6. Replacing the can: shake new can vigorously, unscrew the empty can and replace immediately to ensure that there is no cured foam left in foam gun.
7. Painting on the foam surface with cement, grout, paint, etc. is suggested.
8. Completely clean foam gun immediately after use. Clean skin and cloth with ACST cleaner in time. Scrape cured foam by tools. PROPERTY
1. Short cure time, lower conductivity, lower water absorption, lower insulation, and lower density.
2. Acoustic property, anti-seismic, heat insulation, inflaming retarding, waterproof.
3. Fill cracks and joints.
4. Better adhesion with the surfaces of concrete, brick, metal and aluminum and glass etc.. (Do not apply on the surfaces of poluemethylene and tetrafluoroethylene ) APPLICATION: 1. Construction industry: Seals around windows, doors, siding and baseboard.
2. Installation water & electric system as well as refrigerator Fill racks and joint, gaps around pipes, vents, utility lines and electrical outlets. Apply on auto industry, electronics industry, shipbuilding industry and so on. TECHNICAL DATA
1. Porosity: 60%-70% sealed hole.
2. Tack-free time: After 8 minutes, depend on temperature and humidity.
3. Cure-through time: 5-24 hours, depend on temperature and humidity. (Do not apply to complete sealed surface).
4. Ultraviolet resistant: Seldom resist, must protect the foam surface if exposed in direct sunlight.
5. Tensile force: Acc. to DIN 5356 0.14Mpa
6. Bending strength: Acc. to DIN 53423 0.28Mpa
7. Modulus of elasticity: Acc. to DIN 53422 0.48Mpa
8. Heat concluctivty: Acc. to DIN 52612 0.027K.cal/ml¡æ
9. Volume stability: 15% 1% linear shrinkage rate
20% no change
70% 3-5% linear expansion rate
100% 35 linear expansion rate
10. Flammability: Acc. to DIN 4102-B2
11. Specially electrical conductivity: 5*10 15 Ohm/m
12. Expanded times: min 40 times
13. Temperature: Use between +2¡æ-35¡æ (Do not heat before use) NOTES:
1. Dampen the surface before use.
2. Shake evenly, and keep the bottle upright when the foam is formed.
3. The surface can be shaped by knife or any edge tool in 24hours after that the surface can be brushed painted, and pasted.
FAILURE TREATMENT DURING CONSTRUCTION
1. Check the can vigorously, if it is still liquid, continue to use. Otherwise, stop using.
2. Check valve
Clean white valve ( dig out cured foam with slim iron wire).
3. Check foam gun
Completely clean foam gun or change another one.
4. Use up a whole bottle once is advised, otherwise, valve maybe leaks.
5. Use under shelf life.
6. Favor using under normal temperature.
CAUTION:
1. Contain diphenylmethan-4.4¡¯-disocyanate. Harmful by inhalation, irritating to skin and eyes, but harmless after cured.
2. Do not expose to direct sunlight, store in cool dry place, with max. temperature 50¡æ.
3. Do not incinerate or puncture container even after use up.
4. Keep away from naked flame or any incandescent material.
5. The work place must be well-ventilated and free from smoke. Wear protective gloves goggles and work clothes during use.
6. Out of reach of children. In case it goes into eyes, wash eyes immediately with water. In case of skin contact, remove foam immediately from skin with soapy water or fresh water. IN case of ingestion, go to a doctor for further treatmen
