OPERATION INSTRUCTION
Installed on dry and well-ventilated site, avoiding rain, snow and corrosion gases.
Installed 20mm or up off land. When two or more capacitors operated together, the gap of each other should be no less than 50mm.
Capacitors should be connected properly with soft wire of which current endurance is 1.35 times rated current or more.
Avoiding vibration and collision while transported or installed.
Keeping a certain delay duration for re-switching on in order to make sure that the residual voltage between terminal is no more than 10% of rated voltage.
To ensure capacitors working ordinarily compensators must be equipped with:
Discharge facilities (resistor)
Short-circuit protector
Protector for over-voltage of power frequency
Transient over-voltage protector (lightning-arrester or nonlinear resistor)
Rush current limiter
Over-current protector SPECIFICATION
Service conditions: Ambient temperature-25 --+50, humidity ¡Ü85%RH, and altitude lower than 2000m.
Rated voltage/Rated frequency: 220VAC~600VAC/50Hz.
Rated output: 1.0-100.0kvar.
Capacitance tolerance: -5 +5% of rated #118alue.
Tangent of the loss angle: With the rated frequency and rated voltage, tg¦Ä¡Ü0.1% at 20.
Withstand voltage: Between terminals 1.75 times rated voltage for 2 seconds, between terminals and container 3kVAC for 10 seconds.
Max permissible over-voltage: 110% rated voltage.
Max permissible over-current: 130% rated current.
Self sustained discharge ability: Give¡Ì2 Un DC voltage to capacitor, the residual voltage reduced to 50V or lower within 3 minutes after power off.
Accord with standard: IEC60831-1998.
