1.It is an important medial agent for organic synthesis. It can be used to synthesis acrylic acid, acrylic aldehyde, vitamin A, and 2-aminopyrimidine etc.
2.An important rust remover solvent that can restrain the erosion of iron, copper and nickel caused by acidic substances such as acetic acid, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid.
3.It can be used extraction of oil.
4.It can be used as a stabilizing agent for solvent and chloride-hydrocarbon products, herbicide, antiseptic, etc. Package and Transport
It should be stored in cool and dry places, and kept away from heat source, fire source and naked fire. When exposed to heat or alkali, it can polymerize. Acidic solution could resist polymerization. Long period of storage will caused product to turn yellowish especially when exposed to light, It is poisonous, and should be stored away from strong oxidants and foodstuff, During transportation, its containers should be earthen to prevent static electricity. This product is a inflammable liquid and proper warning labels is required on the container during storage or transportation.
