Properties of Amico Aluminum Plastic Composite Pipe
1. Compare with the metal pipe, Amico composite pipe has the same strength, easy to bend, reluctant to retain former shape;
2. Super properties of high temperature, high pressure and corrosion resistance;
3. Smooth inner surface of the pipe reduces resistance to the fluids. The ability to conduct water is 30% more efficient;
4. Property of fire retardation;
5. Good performance of heat insulation with a thermal conductivity of 0.45W/m.k, which is smaller than that of metal pipe by
far. Thus heat insulation material outside the pipe may be saved;
6. Be convenience for cutting and construction. Special purpose fitting connection may be used instead of threading. Pipe of small diameter is supplied in roll. The length of pipe may be determined at will, and pipe may be bended at will. Thus bend ane pipe fitting are unnecessar, which is convenience for construction. Therefore, labor cost can be reduced and time limit for the project would be shortened;
7. Service life may reach above 50 years;
8. Light weight, which is approximately one tenth of galvanized pipe; thus carriage cost can be economized and cost be reduced;

12. The inside and outside polyethylene are a kind of symmetrical and non-polar material with stable characteristic. At normal temperature, it does not dissolve in any known solutions and is resistant against various kinds of acid, alkali and salt.
13. Amico pipe is hygienic, toxic free, rust free and no growth of microorganism, thus avoiding contamination to water.
14. Weathering quality and working life, It can be concluded from this graph that if utilized under the stipulated conditions and pressures, Amico Pipe can have a working life of more than 50 years. The compelling weathering test by the Compound Material Research Institute of National Chemical Ministry also proves that Amico Pipe can have a working life of 50 years.
15. The PE(X)-AL-PE(X) composite structure acquires Amico Pipe a much better burning resistance than that of all polyethylene pipe.
16. Tthe roughness coefficient of Amico Pipe is 0.007mm.The inside wall is very smooth, scale free and low flow resistant , which makes Amico Pipe ideal for fluid(such as water) carrying. Due to her hard but flexible composite structure, the lashing pressure is quickly eliminated, thus no disturbing sound occurs.
17. Bendable but never spring back, decreases lots of fittings attached, easy installation, spares lots of installation time.
18. The core layer of Aluminum guarantees static resistance, lightness and oxygen tightness, it also ensures no growth of microorganism inside water pipe and the safety in gas supply.
