The scooters run on rechargeable lead acid gel batteries and powerful motors capable of up to 35mph. You may never need to rely on petrol again! The scooters are classified as '50cc' petrol for insurance but are exempt from road tax.
All the scooters are fully approved for road use by the EC and require registration and insurance. Riders whose car licence was issued before February 2001 can ride without any form of additional test. Otherwise they follow a 50cc moped route, with one-session CBT course.
