s. r. j. furniture co., ltd. was established in 1999, focusing on chinese traditional classical furniture design & manufacture here in beijing. our products include: chairs & benches, desks & tables, bed, cabinets, screens, carved wood window & door frames, and wide assortment of other ming and qing dynasty furnishings and handicrafts. the furniture factory is located beside beijing on the jingshen expressway. this accommodates both a convenient shipping location and the neccessary space needed. the structure coveres 6000 square meters, embodied by advanced equipment and professinal workforce. the majority of the raw timber utilized at the factory is from elm beams gleaned from the hundred year old houses of beijing that have been cleared in recent years. the benefites of drawing on this material are multiple. physically and financially this source provides: a hard xylem; clear texture; stable structure and reasonable price that is suitable for furniture. additionally, this has the added benefit of breathing new life into the very history of beijing itself. the beams that witnessed and supported the growth of a new china are noe honored as timeless expressions of the sophisticated elegance of china's enduring past.
